A ja jestem za Ironsem. Chociaż najchętniej nie oddawałabym Camerona Soundgarden. Już się przyzwyczaiłam.
A w sumie - jeśli to kolegom z zespołów jak i samemu Matowi nie przeszkadza, to ja tez nie widzę przeszkody żadnej w tym, aby grał w obu zespołach.
A dlaczego od razu mieliby kogoś starego przyjmować? Mogą kogoś nowego wziąć, każdy perkusista wnosił do ich grania coś innego, choć rozumiem, że Matt już się przyjął do PJ przez zasiedzenie :P Jeśli taka sytuacja by wyniknęła, nie miałabym nic przeciwko innej perkusji od tych, które już słyszeliśmy.
Ale może faktycznie jakoś się podzielą, że nie trzeba będzie nikogo zmieniać - tylko jakoś nie sądzę, żeby wytrzymali tak na długo.
Tylko nie zapominajmy iż oni są coraz starsi a nie młodsi.Będą coraz mniej koncertować a nie więcej.Ed ma zaraz 46 lat.Takiego tempa długo nie pociągnie,muszą robić przerwy i takie tam.Prawo wieku.Tak samo z Soundgarden.Też nie będą ciągle koncertować,bo bez nowego materiału raczej wielu koncertów nie zrobią,jak będzie nowa płyta,to zobaczymy.
Na razie SG nie ma jakichś wielkich planów,więc Pearl Jam ma po prostu przerwę.Zobaczymy na co ją wykorzystają

Na pewno na odpoczynek, wakacje ;] Co do perkusisty PJ. Wolałbym mimo wszystko Matta w SG. Jest wg mnie lepszym perkusistą od wcześniejszych PJ, ale i bez niego nagrywali ich chyba najlepsze, pierwsze 3 albumy. Albo poszukają zupełnie jakiegoś obcego nam perkusisty "na wolnym transfery" ^^
- To nic poważnego - wyjaśniła rzecznik formacji, Nicole Vandenburg. - Eddie zawsze mówi coś takiego na finał trasy. Oznacza to tylko, że to koniec tournée. Mówił po portugalsku i najwyraźniej nastąpił błąd w tłumaczeniu.
No to ja już nic nie wiem :P Ale to świetna informacja :)
No jak to? Ed po prostu chcial zagadać, pewnie mial na myśli, że w tym roku już nie będą koncertować (np. dlatego, że się hajta, może przygotowania przedślubne będą Go mocnozajmować), ale ludzie sobie nadinterpretowali Jego wypowiedź. Ja tak to odbieram.

At Spaceland tonight Mike confirmed that Pearl Jam will be playing both nights of Bridge School (in Mountain View, California on October 23rd and 24th).
He said no plans for a 20th Anniversary show as of what he knows right now.
Also said a documentary is being done by Cameron Crowe for release in August or September of next year.

I think we’ll tour. [But] I don’t know what we’ll do yet. I really love it right now. We’re kinda just pointing and shooting a little bit. Ed [Vedder] will kind of have a vision of what he wants to do next and usually it’s just perfect. It’s a couple three weeks here and a couple three weeks there. We’ll probably get down to South America again I hope. It’s going to be fun.
Does Pearl Jam have any plans to record?
The band has been talking. We were actually talking about trying to get in before Bridge School but I think this Band Of Horses [tour] with Brad is going to make that harder to do. But the band is definitely going to get together probably without Ed and start to hammer out some more demos and get some stuff to the point where he can hear. So no plans, but no rush. But I’ll be ready to go whenever everybody calls me.
Pearl Jam’s drummer Matt Cameron was previously Soundgarden’s drummer. What are your thoughts on Soundgarden reuniting and Matt getting back into that?
I’m looking forward to seeing some more Soundgarden shows. I hope that that’s part of the mix of next year. Matt getting out there and playing some dates with Soundgarden would make the world so happy. They’re crushing and the songs are so great. You can tell they are so reverential music and they’re playing with conviction. It just shows you how different bands make the same drummer play in different ways.
It’s amazing to think that Pearl Jam and Soundgarden shared a bill on Lollapalooza in 1992, and here we are 18 years later and Pearl Jam has been going strong all along.
It’s so great that it’s still going on, isn’t it? ‘Just stick together, don’t break up’ : that’s the advice we got from [U2's manager] Paul McGuinness. That’s what he told [PJ manager] Kelly Curtis, he said, “That’s all you gotta do.” [laughs] It is easier said than done. It’s certainly worked out for them.

Pearl Jam and SIRIUS XM Radio have announced today that it will introduce Pearl Jam Radio, a commercial-free music channel devoted to the music of Pearl Jam on Friday, October 22, the 20th anniversary of the band’s first public performance.
Pearl Jam Radio will launch with a special airing of the band’s 10th anniversary concert recorded in Las Vegas on October 22, 2000. The concert will be heard in its entirety on Friday, October 22 at 6:00 pm ET. The first day of Pearl Jam Radio on SIRIUS XM will also feature rarely heard highlights from the band’s very first concert performance on October 22, 1990 at Off Ramp Cafe in Seattle, Washington.
In addition to these launch day specials, Pearl Jam Radio will feature archival concerts from throughout the band’s celebrated 20-year career, rarities, unreleased material from the band’s personal music library and music from the band’s side projects, including solo and pre-Pearl Jam music.
Additionally, Pearl Jam Radio will offer listeners a unique, interactive experience with the weekly show The All Encompassing Trip, a fan roundtable hosted by Tim Bierman, Manager of Ten Club, Pearl Jam’s official fan club, and long-time Pearl Jam enthusiast and radio veteran Rob Bleetstein. Pearl Jam fans will be invited to participate in conversations on a different theme each week pertaining to the music, news and touring world of Pearl Jam.
