świetne słowa, świetna muzyka. Cały utwór wymiata na całego :) Dziękuję Ci Jeff ;)

To nie jest chyba jego jedyny utwór napisany na potrzeby PJ? Czy ktoś z was zna jeszcze inne utwory, które napisał Jeff? ;)

Świetny numer, Jeff napisał muzykę chyba tylko do tego utworu, prawda? Bo słowa przepowiadają za prywatnością pana Veddera? Są takie smutne! Chyba Ed stworzył to cudo i chodzi o jego ojca? Takie mam odczucie? Ja odbieram całkowicie inaczej ten utwór ;)
Wracając do tematu to, chyba do najbardziej znanych należy utwór "Mankind" płyta NO CODE. (Ludzkość? chyba takie jest tłumaczenie?)

Jeff śpiewa utwór od początku do końca :) Cholernie ciężkie słowa, tekst jetst tak zakręcony, że i ja mam problem z rozszyfrowaniem, o co mu tak do końca chodzi?
Tak czy owak, utwór zasługuje na wysoką pozycję. A najlepsze jest to, że to jest PJ, a nie jego odłamy w stylu Ed solo, Jeff solo itd.. ;p ;)
Oby więcej takich utworów, w których udzielają się artyści PJ nie tylko muzycznie :)

It's a little bit reflecting on where I came from...I grew up in really rural area in Northern Montana, and ["Nothing As It Seems" is] looking back at [that]. I think until two or three years ago, I looked back at my childhood as being a fairly utopian situation where I had the freedom to ride my bike around town when I was five years old, and my parents didn't have to worry about anybody taking me and killing me or whatever. In the last couple of years...there have been some things that have kind of allowed some darker things to come to the surface of my childhood, seeing things that I had kind of selectively forgotten for my own mental health or whatever. I had just seen Affliction and I had just read Nine Below Zero by this guy, Kevin Canty, all very kind of rural things that unearthed a lot of stuff. ["Nothing As It Seems"] is just kind of what came out. I'm just now starting to actually really analyze what I was talking about...because I still don't really have a grip on that.[3]
aha. i jeszcze jedno, co mi mówiło, ze to nie Ed pisał słowa. Tam jest -"A scratching voice all alone it's nothing like YOUR baritone." Edek ma baryton, więc chyba by nie mówil o sobie w drugiej osobie?

Bo ja cały czas myślałam, że Ed tak ma taki dar do tekstów. według mnie jeden z lepszych w historii PJ.
