Słuszne posunięcie.Pearl Jam jest w formie.Coś czuje,że po wielu deklaracjach to będzie bardzo polityczny album,czy też podsumowanie ery George W.,ery wojny.Ciekawe jak to będzie wyglądać muzycznie.Jeśli podobnie jak Avocado to będę zadowolony,bo surowe,mocne rockowe granie to kierunek w którym Pearl Jam sprawdza się coraz lepiej zaczynając od Vs a na owocu kończąc...z drugiej jednak strony po cichu marzę o powrocie do "pogłosowego grania" i ogromnej przestrzeni na nowym albumie.Jeśli mnie przeczucie nie myli to jedną już piosenkę znamy,bo "No more" grane na koncertach nie trafi raczej na solową płytę Veddera a widzi mi się jako drugie "Gone" czy solowy popis na płytce w stylu soon forget.
Co do nowego albumu pozostaje jeszcze jedna kwetsia.Dla potrzeb Avocado Pearl Jam zrobił ok 23 piosenek.Nie wszystkie weszły na ostatnia płytę,a na single nie weszły.Pytanie więc...czy dopracuja te piosenki bo są wystarczająco dobre czy wezma się(co jest bardziej prawdopodobne)za robienie zupełnie nowych kompozycji.

Na tym etapie narazie wrzucam tekst do ew. piosenki z nowej plyty,bo zdania fanów z forum sa podzielone i nie wiadomo czy ona napewno sie nie znajdzie.

Jeśli chodzi o nową płytę to szansa jest spora. Przecieki o takowej były już też wcześniej, zbliżają sie w stanach wybory i okazji do tematów na nowe piosenki chłopakom nie zabraknie.
Jeśli chodzi o "no more" to raczej na płycie sie nie pojawia o to dlaczego. Jeśli zajrzycie pod ten link czeka was niespodzianka. Co do tych 23 utworów które były nagrane do "Avocado", a dokładniej tych około 10 które się nie załapały to takowe szybciej znajdą sie na ewentualnym Lost Dogs 2 lub dla bycia bardziej oryginalnym nowym Lost Cats . Szansa na takowe wydawnictwo dodatkowo jest , bo są jeszcze nagrania które nie załapały sie na pierwsze Lost Dogs. W temacie Rarytasy znajdziecie więcej informacji.

Amerykanie wzięli się za pracę nad dziewiątym albumem studyjnym. Nie znaczy to, ze płyta ukaże się za miesiąc - studzi emocje Jeff Ament. Ale uruchomiliśmy już cały proces. Czasem trwa on sześć miesięcy, czasem dwa lata. Na razie mamy radochę ze wspólnego jammowania.
Zeszły rok był dla legendy grunge'u raczej mało aktywny. Muzycy zagrali razem raptem dwa koncerty, gdyż Eddie Vedder promował swój album solowy, Into The Wild. Ostatnia płyta Pearl Jamu, zatytułowana po prostu Pearl Jam ukazała się w maju 2006.

wydaje mi się natomiast że PJ (wam pewnie też) że każda nowa płyta to coś zupełnie nowego, jakby nowy rodzaj zarówno grunge, punka i alternatywu..... w iron maiden zawsze mnie denerwowała jednostajność, powtarzalność każda następna płyta była podobna do poprzedniej, przynajmniej takie odnosiłem wrażenie.
Only two years have passed since Pearl Jam last released an album, 2006’s self titled eighth studio album. However, despite a successful stint at both a solo album and tour, Vedder is working with his boys in churning out a follow up. Currently, the Seattle grunge rockers are in the studio with Brendan O’Brien. You may remember O’Brien’s certain work with the band, 1998’s Yield?
“It’s really in its infant stages right now,” McCready tells Rolling Stone. “We have about five ideas that have been worked on.” The band, whose last album was 2006’s well-received Pearl Jam, isn’t sure yet about the direction of the new release. “Brendan is another set of ears that we respect, and he’s going to give us a different way to go but I don’t know what that is yet,” McCready says. The band has already had one session with O’Brien, and will probably resume work on the album in July after finishing their June U.S. tour.
The band is still signed to J Records, a subsidiary of Sony/BMG, which should offer some leg room for creativity. If 2006’s album is any indication, let’s hope the sound evolves off that raw energy which made songs “Life Wasted” and “Comatose” so fresh to the ears.
Either way, keep on the look out. With shows scheduled at Bonnaroo and a short summer tour planned, there might be some new bootlegs to look out for in the near future.

Pearl Jam Reteams With Brendan O'Brien For New Album
Pearl Jam has started recording its ninth studio album with producer Brendan O'Brien, guitarist Mike McCready told Seattle radio station KISW yesterday (May 1). Though only "four or five" songs are being worked on so far, McCready said the band is hoping to release the record in 2008.
The new effort, a follow-up to its self-titled 2006 album, finds Pearl Jam reteaming with longtime producer Brendan O'Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine) for the first time since 1998's "Yield." O'Brien has also produced Pearl Jam's "Vs." (1993), "Vitalogy" (1994) and "No Code."
The two parties first reunited last year to record a cover of the Who's "Love Reign O'er Me" for the soundtrack to the Adam Sandler film "Reign Over Me."
"Brendan works really fast," Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament told Billboard.com in March. "He's a super pro. I've always felt, working with him, that he understood me as a bass player and that's not always easy. A lot of producers are there to please the singer. But I've always had a great rapport with him. I can tell him I want something to sound like the O'Jays or Led Zeppelin or PJ Harvey and he gets it."
"We've always been friends," O'Brien told Billboard.com last fall. "They were great to me when we were making records together [before], and we still remained very good friends ... I still think they're a great band. Eddie [Vedder] has one of the best, if not the best, voices out there. When he sings, people believe them."

1 maja Mike McCready udzielił wywiadu w radiu KUOW. Mike opisał historię swojej choroby Crohna - na którą cierpi od 21 roku życia. Opowiedział także o swym zaangażowaniu w pomoc organizacji CCFA, skupiającej się na pomocy ludziom z tą chorobą oraz o charytatywnym koncercie jego zespołu Flight to Mars.
Mike wspomniał też o nowej płycie Pearl Jam - "mamy już cztery czy pięć w całości nagranych utworów i nowy krążek zamierzamy wydać jeszcze w 2008 roku" - powiedział. Producentem płyty będzie oczywiście Brendan O'Brien. Zespół chce kontynuować pracę nad nowym albumem zaraz po czerwcowej trasie koncertowej po USA.
